Hi, I'm Shraddha

I'm a software engineer who cares as much about why something gets built as how. Most of the interesting problems I've worked on haven't been purely technical — they've been about understanding what people actually need, then finding the simplest thing that does it well.

This site is where I think out loud. That mostly means notes on engineering craft, the product reasoning behind technical decisions, and the occasional write-up of something I went through and wish I'd read beforehand.

When I'm not building, I'm usually reading. I keep a running list of what I'm working through, which is about as close to a hobby page as this site gets.
